Compare the Oxygenator to Oxygen Injection
The Oxygenator system uses ambient air to eliminate H2S and prevent it from forming. We enjoy a near perfect success rate over nearly 50 years of doing this. Over this period we have seen many competitors come and go.
More recently, pressurized oxygen injection technologies have gotten a lot of attention. Injecting concentrated oxygen can be effective in preventing Hydrogen Sulfide formation in collection systems and storage tanks. However, these systems are very expensive and complicated. They also require either producing oxygen on site or large storage tanks with regular deliveries.
The Oxygenator system is simple and cost effective. Our system utilizes a pump, an Oxygenator and nothing else. We actually eliminate existing H2S, something oxygen injection does not do, while preventing it from forming as well.
In short, the Oxygenator System
-
Offers a very low capital cost. Typically the cost of purchase will be 10-20% of the oxygen injection technologies
-
Offers a low Installation cost. The Oxygenator is 10-20% of that of the Oxygen injection systems
-
Offers a low operating cost
-
Is very simple using only a pump and an Oxygenator nozzle
-
Requires little or no maintenance
-
Eliminates existing H2S and prevents future formation. Oxygen injection is only a preventative measure
-
Eliminates concerns with trapped gas in the wastewater line. We do not inject gas under pressure. Does not inject gas into the wastewater under pressure so there are no issues downstream with trapped gases
-
When compared the chemicals, the payback is usually 6 –12 months
Theia tested our own oxygen injection technologies in the past but they did not match up well against our Oxygenator systems. Neither do the ones being offered in the industry today. We welcome the opportunity to discuss why we are so much better.
